Orders

Can I modify or combine my order?

Once an order is placed, we are unable to modify or combine it.

Can I cancel my order?

You may cancel an order, but you may be required to pay a cancellation fee of 15%. It is important to note that once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled. If you need assistance with any cancellation, please call us at 281-719-0444 and our team will be happy to help.

Are shipping charges applied to my order?

Shipping charges are applied for each order placed, as shown during checkout. If multiple orders are placed at the same time, shipping charges will be charged for each order and must be paid in accordance with our Terms of Use. We may combine multiple orders into one shipment via UPS.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Shipping

What is the processing and shipping timeline for orders placed?

Orders received after 1PM CST will be processed on the subsequent business day. Shipping is carried out from Monday to Friday through UPS Ground. As per UPS guidelines, the estimated transit times for ground services range from one to five business days. Please contact us at 281-719-0444 for more information.

Why is my tracking number not working?

It may take up to 48 business hours for the tracking information to be updated on the UPS website. We prepare orders during the day and UPS picks them up in the evening and brings them to the their nearest hub. This is where the first scan will occur and the tracking info will be updated.

How are shipping costs calculated?

Shipping rates can be calculated easily before you submit your payment information. To do so, add all desired items to your cart and proceed to our secure checkout. At this point, you will be prompted to enter your state, zip code, and city to determine the shipping cost. All shipping is done via UPS Ground.

Are there any states where you donʻt ship ammunition?

We ship ammunition to most states with the exceptions of: Alaska, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, Illinois (some cities such as Chicago, Chicago Heights, Cicero, Evanston, Norridge, Schaumburg, Thornton, Elgin, Arlington Heights, Palatine, Skokie, Des Plaines, Orland Park), New Jersey, New York, Washington D.C, Puerto Rico, P.O. Boxes, U.S. Virgen Islands AE, Armed Forces Pacific (AP) and Armed Forces Europe, Middle East, Africa and Canada. AA - Armed Forces Americas (AE) and international addresses. For Rhode Island and Illinois customers residing outside the restricted areas mentioned above, please reach out to us at info@goastrasports.com for any assistance with your order.

Why is there a hazmat fee for shipping primers?

When you order primers from our warehouse, there will be a HazMat fee applied. Each order includes a Shipping fee and a HazMat fee (unless you have other products that ship separately or oversized items, which may have separate charges). Each order can't exceed 66 pounds of primers.

Primers are considered hazardous materials, so they come with HazMat Charges. They can only be shipped within the continental U.S. using ground freight, due to safety and legal regulations. Unfortunately, we can't accept returns on primers for the same reasons.

Any product that has a HazMat fee will be stated on the product detail page. You'll also see the applicable fees will be included in the shipping charges during the Checkout process.

Returns

Can I exchange or return my purchase of ammunition and/or ammunition components?

Due to safety concerns and regulations, we are not able to offer exchanges or returns of ammunition and/or ammunition components; all sales of ammunitions and ammunitions components from Astra Sports are final.

Can I exchange or return my purchase of general merchandise, air guns, and/or accessories?

At Astra Sports we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Returns for general merchandise, air guns, and/or accessories are accepted. Most new, unused, unopened items can be returned within 15 days of delivery for exchanges or a full refund. A 20% restocking fee will apply for any return. You are responsible for any shipping, handling, and insurance cost associated with the return. We shall inspect all returned products and reserve the right to deny any returns or exchanges.

If the return is a result of our error, such as receiving an incorrect or defective item, we’ll cover the return shipping costs. 

If you need to return a qualified item, please contact us at info@goastrasports.com or call us at 281-719-0444 with your order number and reason for your return. We’ll respond quickly with instructions on how to proceed and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will be assigned. Please note that any products that are returned without an RMA number will not be refunded. Once we receive the returned item, we’ll process your refund.

Additional, due to safety concerns and regulations, we are not able to offer exchanges or returns of ammunition and/or ammunition components; all sales of ammunitions and ammunitions components from Astra Sports are final.

How can I contact a Customer Service Representative?

Do you charge sales tax?

We are required to collect and report sales tax for online purchases due to current legislation, which was established by a 2018 United States Supreme Court ruling in the South Dakota vs. Wayfair case. Sales tax rates vary by state and are calculated based on the destination of the order using a third-party service. Sales tax is added to the total order amount during checkout and we report the collected tax to the respective state taxing authority. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our customer service team.

How should I store ammunition and ammunition components?

Store ammunition and ammunition components in a secure, dry, and cool place, away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and moisture. Ammunition should be stored separately from firearms, while ammunition components should be stored separately from ammunition. Ammunition should be kept in its original packaging or in approved containers, and inspected routinely for signs of corrosion or damage. Keep ammunition out of the reach of children and only handle it with individuals who are properly trained in its safe handling. Store ammunition away from combustible materials and away from flammable substances such as gasoline, oil, or cleaning solvents.

If the ammunition is stored properly, it should have a shelf life of around 10 years.

When handling air rifles and air guns, it is crucial to prioritize safety. These weapons should never be treated as toys, as they are real and functional guns. It is important to familiarize yourself with the proper handling and safety procedures, just as you would with a live firearm. Always wear appropriate eye protection when handling these weapons to safeguard against potential eye injuries. Learn how to handle, load, unload, operate, fire, and care for your air rifle or air gun properly. Understanding its proper usage is essential for safe and effective handling. Remember, never play with your air rifle or air gun. These are potentially dangerous weapons that can cause serious harm or even be fatal.

Maintain a strict rule of always keeping the muzzle pointed in a safe direction. Never point the weapon at anyone or anything you do not intend to shoot, regardless of whether it is loaded or unloaded. Prioritize unloading the air rifle or air gun when it is not in use, and ensure it is unloaded before performing any cleaning or maintenance. Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to aim at your intended target and fire.

While air rifles and air guns may have safety mechanisms, it is important not to solely rely on them. Treat these mechanisms as additional layers of safety, but always exercise common sense and follow proper safety practices. When storing your air rifle or air gun, keep it securely locked and separate from its ammunition. Store them in a location that is inaccessible to children and unauthorized individuals.
